Hikes With Paul

Paul is a long-standing expat, passionate about hiking and very experienced. PLEASE take water and wear appropriate footwear. Mosquito spray is also recommended.

Board a speed boat out to the mangrove forest and mud crab ponds. Sup-board around the lagoon, learn about the local fruit, and the Champa people. Witness the birds coming home in the afternoon.

Coral Reefs

Birthplace of Martial Arts (50kms from Quy Nhơn).

1 Quang Trung Museum & Hầm Hô

Watch a martial arts display at the museum. Take a 5km drive through rice fields to Hầm Hô (the "Hạ Long Bay" of the jungle). Great for swimming. Row down the stream in an old wooden boat.

2 Thiên Hưng Pagoda or Cham Towers

Thiên Hưng (17th century) has a 12-floor tower and beautiful gardens. Alternatively, hike to the 11th-century Cham towers on the mountain for spectacular views.
